Our medium weight, 32oz (1085g/m²) Pyroblanket™ is a high-temperature-resistant blanket constructed from a glass fiber base fabric, impregnanted on both sides with a specially compounded silicone rubber coating designed to shed medium to heavy weld spatter and is resistant to heat and occasional flame.
Pyroblanket™ 32oz is completely impervious to water, moisture, and hydraulic oils. It is used primarily for fabrication of premium-grade valve insulation covers, hanging flame-protection blankets in outdoor and offshore use, protective molten splash applications, and fabric expansion joints.
