REACH is a European Community Regulation on chemicals and their safe use (EC 1907/2006), dealing with the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical substances. The new law entered into force on 1 June 2007.

What is “firesleeve?

Firesleeve (or fire sleeve - either usage applies) is not a brand. Firesleeve is an industry generic term, typically referring to a glass fiber sleeve coated with red silicone rubber. Firesleeve is commonly used to protect hose and cables assemblies from flame and molten metal splash.

Cool Blue is the latest innovation to emerge from our R&D lab. Designed to protect personnel from hot hoses and piping, Cool Blue can reduce an outer temperature of 380°F (194°C) to approximately 130°F (54°C).
